Ellen has two passions – the great outdoors and working with children. That’s why she created Wacky Willow Creations – it’s the perfect way to combine both, with the opportunity to introduce children to nature.
As an qualified nursery nurse she worked in schools with Key Stage 1 children for over 7 years, where she first combined teaching with forestry and discovered the joy in making learning fun.
In 2014 Ellen decided the time was right, and Wacky Willow Creations was launched.
The ability to grow her own materials makes every project more personal – which is why each piece gets her full attention, no matter the size. From decorative hearts to living willow domes, Ellen loves to work with the client, ensuring that your finished product is completely unique.
Ellen provides bespoke workshops for private parties, craft fairs or schools – being fully DBS checked and insured allows her to interact directly with children and help them learn a new skill or craft. Over the winter months she can be found creating commissioned garden features for individual clients and has worked with nursery schools, hotels and open gardens to add a piece of exclusive living art to their displays.
